At Eco-Lawnz, we care deeply about how this community looks and feels because it's where we grew up. We provide full-service lawn care including irrigation, which is designed to get your lawn looking lush, and we might even reduce your water bill in the process!
We only use electric equipment, which is not only better for the environment, but also leads to quieter service calls. We offer weekly or bi-weekly mowing, and services include trimming and edging. Bagging grass clippings is optional, but leaving them behind may be beneficial to long-term lawn health. Aeration services are available each spring, as well as leaf removal each fall.
We source all of our fertilizer from a trusted Colorado company, because their product is specifically designed for Colorado's climate. Our base fertilizer helps reduce thatch, disease, and weeds, and can be applied every 4-6 weeks, from April till September. During the hottest months, we apply an iron-enriched fertilizer that keeps grass lush and green, even through weather that leaves untreated grass yellow and dying. When the weather starts to cool, we apply a winterized formula that promotes root penetration and vigor, and improves moisture retention through unpredictable winter weather. All of our fertilizer is organic based and pet-safe, derived from dehydrated poultry waste, and provides the recommended 1 pound of nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft. Our fertilizer allows grass to develop dense root systems, which require less water to stay healthy.
It's through our irrigation services that we are most likely to reduce your water usage. Many irrigation systems are outdated, built long before the latest advances in technology. We offer free system audits, and whether your system requires a complete overhaul or just a few tweaks here and there, we have the knowledge and skill to get it operating at the highest possible efficiency. The full range of our irrigation services include: activations (turn ons and system checks), repair work, winterization and blowouts, drip systems, retro-fits, and smart-watering set-up. Ask about government subsidies that may be available to those who implement smart-watering to reduce usage.
